Track rollers

Standard track roller

standardlaufrolle.jpg

Intended application and design

These track rollers are used on doors that are not subject to any particular requirements in terms of extreme loads and low noise emissions. An encapsulated ball bearing is coated with a plastic cover. During a second step, the running surface is mechanically processed and optimally adapted to the contour of the tracking rail.

Characteristics

Maximum weight of door panel: 35 kg
Service life: 2 million cycles
Noise emissions ~ 53 dB(A)
(not suitable for glass door panels)

High-performance track roller

hochleistungslaufrolle.jpg

Intended application and design

These track rollers are used on doors that are subject to particular requirements in terms of extreme loads and long service life. The track roller is turned from a cast polyamide composite product and then pressed together with an encapsulated ball bearing. The contour of the track roller is optimally adapted to the tracking rail. Even if there are long idle periods, the material of the running surface only tends to flatten to a very minute degree.

Characteristics

Maximum weight of door panel: 150 kg
Service life: 12 million cycles
Noise emissions ~ 54 dB(A)

Silent track roller

fluesterrolle.jpg

Intended application and design

These track rollers are used on doors that are subject to particular requirements in terms of low noise emissions. The track roller consists of a turned aluminium core with an encapsulated ball bearing that is pressed in. The running surface is coated with Vulkollan and optimally adapted to the profile of the tracking rail by means of subsequent mechanical processing. Not suited for long idle periods.

Characteristics

Maximum weight of door panel: 60 kg
Service life: 6 million cycles
Noise emissions ~ 49 dB(A)

Service life and noise emissions are determined using a two-panel, centre-opening door configuration, 900x2100 mm in a sound-proof room.
